I’m the jargon of my own existence

I’m the jargon of my own existence
An idea of God
Forged by my mother
Coined by my father
Nurtured by my people
Sculpted by the time I live in
I am just an idea!
I will be soon forgotten
To a grave
Whose rough face will read
“Here lies an idea
Which cannot be reclaimed
Unless you fall in love.”

“I am You!”

When I am in love
I am more than what I am
I am raised
Revived
Resurrected
Sanctified
To become the locus
Of all what is divine
I become the universe that consumes us
In ever-exchanging days and nights
But then when I think of you, love
Oh! When I think of you
I am reduced to my finitude
Torn apart
Into billion pieces
Till I become a dot
In an ever-blinking eye of the universe
And when I am at brink of nothingness
The only saving grace
Is when I say
  “I am You!”

“All the stones bleed of old memories.”

Walking down one deserted street
Of my childhood hometown
Which, I remember, was made of joy once
Where I had spent my innocent years
Of untold mischievousness.
I felt like lying down on the ground
Only to feel how it feels to be alive again
I felt the heart beat
of the barren earth beneath me
beating like a dying man
slow but stubborn
I touched its soily skin
And caressed it all along
Suddendly, it cried with pain
There were scars all over
Scars of undeserving time
And regretful past
I tried to console it
Caressed it with my tears of concern
But it kept on sobbing like a child
And when I asked it of pain
I was answered by few stray stones
Lying all over it chest
One stone told me
Of losing its lovely home
In the backyard of the house
Which is there no more
Another told me of its joy of years
Lying at the bottom of an ancient stream
Being cleansed again and again
By faithful rains and trustworthy snows
Another stones still recovering from its pain
Of loss and dejection
Told me of the love
It used to get at the footsteps of a sacred shrine
Which was burnt
And rebuilt with foreign stones
Another one told me of anger
Of being held in young hands of hatred
And thrown with vengeance
Only to hurt its own heart
I couldn’t hear them all
For a while I stood there
Like one of them
And then when I was about to leave
A small lost stone in its soft stony voice
Cried and asked me of home
Which it couldn’t find anymore
Without consoling them any
I turned homeward
Which I wasn’t sure
Have those same familiar friendly stones around
I walked in silent soreness
An old stone lying on one bleeding sidewalk
Reminded me of my childhood
And asked me if I could recognize it
While I held it in my trembling fingers
And looked at its dusty black shine
I couldn’t hold my tears back
It was the same stone
Which I had preserved so many years
like a precious hard earned treasure
In my childhood years
And kept it safe
In the old ragged pocket
Of my grandmother’s phirin.

I can’t stop my pen to bleed

I can’t stop my pen to write of my country
A country of saints and shrines of hope
Whose love makes its real beauty
More than rivers, lakes and mountains
I can’t stop my pen to bleed of innocent blood
Which has been smeared
All over the walls in madness
I can’t stop my fingers to wear away
Because of the pain my countrymen bear
I can’t stop my mother to cry
Or my neighbors to stop sobbing
I can’t…
I can’t allow myself to yield to hatred
Which few men have learn to live by,
civil as well as savage,
equally nourished so long
In the hearts of ignorant
For my brothers who now sleep restlessly
In thousands of unnamed graves
I can’t stop wonderful people to shine
Or to build world’s greatest empire
On the rubbles of my home
And to paint it all red
With the blood of my ever-bleeding heart
I can’t stop my beautiful people
To rob my gardens of stones
Those holding the gardens of our love
To fall on prophets of hate
I can’t stop beautiful women of my valley
To tear off their cloaks of dignity
To show their unheard dissent
I can’t stop anything at all
The only thing I can stop
Is to stop being silent
In the midst of noises
Coming from stones and bullets
Falling and piercing only human heart
Who are equally confused
About only one thing
“What it takes to be a human
In its own right?”
