From a stone-pelter to a stone-cutter

From a stone-pelter to a stone-cutter
I lived through many lives
I died many deaths
I travelled all the deserts of my past
I climbed all the mountains of my pain
I rested too many souls in the soil
How far shall I bleed?
How far?

Except my dull twin eyes
Those deep brown dirty ones
Smeared with dust of time
I have no more stones left
Take them if you want
My hands are empty
Take them now

From a stone-pelter to a stone-cutter
Alas!
No more stones are left
Yet
No more stones are lost
